Here is my favorite aria from the movie, plus some of the dramatic following scenes between Farinelli and his brother, Carlo Broschi, who composed for him. The movie can be viewed in its entirety on YouTube. I will try to dig up the lyrics for the aria that is sung here. Oh, just a word about these castrato arias. They were usually so popular that they were "recycled" between operas and even composers. The one that Farinelli is singing here is an example. Nobody is sure who the original composer was...some say it was Hasse, others Porpora, some even suggested it was Handel. The movie pretends that it was written by Farinelli's brother Carlo Broschi,.

As I am too lazy to give you a full translation today. The lyrics are basically a young hero in the opera singing that he is feeling like a ship being tossed in the waves. I think we can all relate to that song without having to go into the details! Here are the lyrics:
